What are Sand Dollars?

‘Sand Dollars’ is the reward system exclusive to Sun-Kissed and Sandy! Just like being rewarded at the beach when searching through the sandy water for a Sand Dollar, your hard work of sharing the SKAS name and making purchases will earn you Sand Dollars. Below are more details on how to earn and redeem Sand Dollars.
 

How to Earn Sand Dollars:

  • Earn 50 dollars for liking SKAS business page on FB
  • Earn 50 dollars for sharing SKAS website on FB
  • Earn 50 dollars SKASHandmade on Instagram
  • Earn 50 dollars SKAS website on Twitter
  • Earn 200 dollars for your Birthday (you must have your account created prior to your birth date to earn these dollars)
  • Earn 200 dollars for creating a store account on the SKAS website
  • Earn 500 dollars Refer a friend – Give your friends a 10% off coupon gift for their first order. You get 500 Sand Dollars when your friends make their first purchase.
  • For every $1 spent on a SKAS purchase you’ll earn 1 Sand Dollar.
  • Being a winner of the daily games on our FB group can result in earning various amount of Sand Dollars too.

What can I use my Sand Dollars on?

  • Paying the balance on any remaining/new Pre-Order balances (not pre-order deposits) Please PM to have your coupon applied as this is beyond system limitations! 
  • AWE Congo purchases (Currently if you wish to use a discount on these purchases you must redeem the points and PM the code you receive. We will apply this code to the invoice of your purchase.)
  • Purchases made on the SKAS website – you will see a coupon box where you can put in the coupon code. 

How to redeem Sand Dollars:

  1. Log into your store account – New users to the site will need to first create their store account, doing so will instantly credit your account with 500 Sand Dollars YAY!

  2. If purchasing on the SKAS website click on the Earn Rewards banner (desktop users the bar is on the right side, mobile users it will be located on the bottom of the screen).
  3. Clicking on this bar will open a window telling you the current amount of Sand Dollars you have. You may trade in your Sand Dollars for any coupons that you have earned through the program! 
  4. Click “Spend Your Sand Dollars” and choose the amount you want to trade in by selecting the “Redeem” button. A discount code will be displayed for your use (if you close this window don’t panic! The code will also be sent to the email address on your store account.)
  5. Continue shopping and when you are ready for check out, enter your discount code in the Discount and Click “Apply”.
  6. As a courtesy, SKAS does ask that you only use credit for up to 50% of your total balance. Shipping can always be covered in full!
